Welcome to my world. I’m Lauren Eliana, you can call me L for short.
“Eliana” is the name I was born with. It holds deep meaning and a powerful story behind it. You’re also more than welcome to call me Laur or just “L.” I love a nickname.


My energy? Think personal hype coach meets grounded guide. I’m here to hype you up and co-create your hair transformation in a way that feels true to you. I’m also known for making people laugh and creating an experience that’s grounded and chill. As a Gemini, Sagg, Pisces, I'm a no BS type of person. With 18 years behind the chair, I've gained an immense amount of knowledge about hair and health through my own experiences....the good and the not so good. That's exactly what I bring to the table: real experience, honest guidance, zero fluff.  My clients get someone who's put in the work so you don't have to guess.


I care deeply about community, connection, and supporting my people both in and out of the chair. Whether you're here for some reprieve, play, or something in between, I’ll lock in. I’m a queer, neurodivergent (ADD) free spirit who believes hair care is straight up ritual, not just a service.


I was born in Bogotá, Colombia and adopted into a small Massachusetts town where I spent most of my life. Hair became my creative outlet when I was young. I was always cutting and styling my American Girl Dolls or Barbies when no one was looking. May have also chased my bro down with a pair of scissors to cut his hair too. As I navigated chronic depression, anxiety, and identity struggles as an adoptee, hair became the one way I could express myself boldly. To make me feel heard and seen when no one else could in the way I needed them to. Once I entered cosmetology school, I was finally immersed in unapologetic creativity, queerness, and self-expression and I never looked back.
Now, I get to create affirming, sensory-rich spaces for others to feel chill, seen, and celebrated. Pretty stellar if you ask me.


When I’m not behind the chair, I’m usually out at a rave or music festival dancing my tush off or in nature with my partner, Luke, and our dog, Koda. I lead a Cali-sober lifestyle. Music is something I would never be able to live without. I dabble in playing acoustic and electric guitar or locked-in an RPG game. My obsessions start with Anime. My faves right now are Demon Slayer, JJk, My Hero Academia, Naruto. Human Design is another (1/3 Mani Gen ✨), all things tarot, and traveling the world.
